Egale Canada
Egale is Canada’s leading organization for 2SLGBTQI people and issues. We improve and save lives through research, education, awareness, and by advocating for human rights and equality in Canada and around the world. Our work helps create societies and systems that reflect the universal truth that all persons are equal, and none is other.
Egale Canada and the 50 – 30 Challenge
Egale and its collaborators are supporting the 50-30 Challenge by linking Challenge Participants to best practices and tools, providing guidance and advice on other diversity supports specific to each organization’s unique needs, promoting the What Works Toolkit, and helping 50–30 participants benchmark their progress at different stages of their journeys.
Our collaborators include several organizations that represent and advocate for various equity deserving groups including the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers (CABL), Congress of Aboriginal People (CAP), Canadian Council on Rehabilitation and Work (CCRW), Equal Voice and Foundation Emergence to develop our tools and resources.
